A magnificent bowl (height 9 cm x diameter 30 cm) with a finely crackled glaze in an eggshell white colour, verging on ivory. It is notable for its proportions, its wide flat rim, and the decorative effect of four medallions in relief with applied decoration, which lend it a sense of and elegance. This type of geometric medallion is found on other Bonifas pieces. This bowl can likely be dated to around 1931–1935. It is a very rare model.
I have been interested in this artist for over forty years, and this is the first time I have come across this form in this size.
