History:
Nicolas-Marie MORIOT (1788–1852), a miniaturist and porcelain painter, worked at the Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory between 1827 and 1848. This is one of his rare early works, created before he became the official painter to King Louis-Philippe, notably at the Royal Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory.
