A very beautiful large centerpiece, jardinière, intended to hold flowers or fruit.
In Renaissance style.
It reproduces the fountain basins of 16th-century gardens, with water jets flowing from the 8 mascarons on the upper rim.
This corresponds to the Troubadour period, circa 1830.
The centerpiece is supported by four caryatids with acanthus leaves and lion’s paws.
