Ormolu cup - Restoration period

Cup with stylized dolphins.
Chased ormolu.
Restoration period, around 1830.

This cup has a decorated base with a frieze of water leaves on which rests a foot formed by three dolphins attached to a baluster shaft. Their coiled tails as well as the foot support a smooth bowl whose three handles are decorated with foliage and a flower from which snakes emerge.
