Shell-Shaped Trinket Dish in Gilt Bronze and Amethyst – Attributed to Claude V. Boeltz.

1970s shell-shaped trinket dish attributed to Claude Victor Boeltz (1937–), made of gilt bronze and amethyst.

Together with the sculptor César, he developed a technique that gave bronze its highly distinctive mineral-like, "exploded" appearance.

The glass top is supported by four bronze legs, while the base features a large amethyst at its center.

In perfect condition.

We also have a matching coffee table, sold separately.
