A Louis XVI carved and giltwood (bois doré) table midi, crafted in Paris circa 1780–1785. The structure rests on molded, tapering baluster legs terminating in toupie feet. The apron features a foliage frieze and rosette-carved corner blocks, surmounted by a precisely fitted red-grey marble top. The design vocabulary and construction allow for an art-historical attribution to the circle of the Parisian menuisier Georges Jacob.
