Large Murano chandelier in white glass, 18th century

This impressive Murano chandelier comes from a villa near Florence. It features a rare internal structure, comprising lanterns adorned with twisted columns and cantilevered flying buttresses. This 32-light chandelier is decorated with delicate pink flower buds.
In excellent condition, with a few minor chips.
The chandelier has been fully cleaned and restored, and its electrical wiring has been rewired.

At the Murano Museum, visitors can admire a more imposing version of this original chandelier, which also features the internal structure of a four-column lantern and arms ending in dolphin heads.
