Three solid silver serving pieces

Lot of silverware comprising a saucepan, a stew spoon, and a ladle in solid silver:

Saucepan in silver with an ebony handle.
Well hallmarked: maker’s mark (possibly the silversmith Jules Dupuis) on the base and Minerva 1st standard mark.
Monogram on the front.
Paris – Second half of the 19th century.

Dimensions: length 27.5 cm – diameter 13.5 cm
Condition: very good condition with minor signs of use; small dents underneath.


Stew spoon in solid silver, filet contour model with count’s coat of arms (a feather crossed with a sword above a crescent moon, flanked by greyhounds), bearing marks known as “Fermiers Généraux.” Three hallmarks on the back of the handle.
18th century period.

Condition: good condition, some small dents and light surface scratches consistent with use.


Ladle in solid silver, uniplat model, bearing the rooster hallmark (1798–1809) and the Paris guarantee mark (1st standard / 950‰). Four hallmarks on the back of the handle.
Marked with the initials P. D. L.
Consulate or early Empire period.

Condition: very good condition, very slight dents to the bowl and minor surface scratches from use.
