A carved and gilded wooden barometer-thermometer from the Louis XVI period (1774-1793), 18th century.
The finial is decorated with a rooster celebrating sunrise, symbolized by a radiant face framed by two cornucopias.
The thermometer is in the style of Réaumur (1683-1757).
