Pair of Meissen porcelain potpourri vases, circa 1770.

Pair of covered porcelain vases serving as potpourri holders, the gilt handles imitating bronze and terminating in faun masks.
The base is decorated with gilt Greek?key motifs, also in imitation of bronze.
Each vase is adorned with four medallions depicting sepia antique?style heads on a pink ground, flanked on the sides by military attributes painted in grisaille.
Underside with the blue crossed?swords mark with dot, circa 1765–1770.
