Rare pair of small mahogany and mahogany veneer coffee tables, oval in shape, opening at the front with three drawers, the first fitted with a removable writing tablet and an inkwell, the other two without visible crossbars. The flat fluted uprights are joined by a kidney-shaped mahogany spacer shelf surrounded by double moulding. The curved legs are finished with gilt bronze leaf-shaped feet with castors. The top is in veined white marble surrounded by an openwork gilt bronze gallery on the front. Gilt bronze keyholes, original locks.
