Beautiful pair of lion's head arms with a ring in the mouth holding three lamp holders ending in small lion heads raised in a semicircle.
The trumpet-shaped lamp holders are heavily chiseled with flowers and palmettes on an elaborate background.
Large openwork and chiseled palmettes are applied above and below.
Empire period.
Slight wear to the gilding, perfectly acceptable.
These appliqués can be attributed to craftsmen such as Feuchère, Thomire, or Galle, who used these models with variations, thus demonstrating the variety of creations based on common elements.
