This hard-paste porcelain litron cup and its matching saucer are beautifully adorned with rose medallions on a celadon green ground. Each rose is framed in a delicate gold scalloped outline, creating a striking decorative rhythm that embodies the refined and decorative elegance of late 18th-century French porcelain.
Painter Nicolas Sinsson was known for his finely detailed floral motifs and was one of the most prolific and skilled flower painters at Sèvres during this period.
