Large desk, all sides in blackened wood with geometric brass fillet decoration.
It opens with five drawers on the front in three rows and five simulated drawers on the back.
The central drawer and simulated central drawer are in a steeply recessed concave arch, and the apron is shaped like a scalloped edge.
Double brass frames also feature geometric decorations on the apron sides, highlighted by a scalloped edge.
The gilded morocco top with small ironwork is surrounded by blackened wood and encircled by a double-grooved gilt bronze ingot mold.
It rests on four arched legs with identical falling gilt bronze decoration, featuring Indian heads surrounded by volutes and highlighted by a leafy garland. The gilt bronze crowbars, topped with acanthus leaves, are in enveloping crowbars.
The keyholes depict shells and foliage, each topped with a lion's head. Each drawer has a handle connected to it by a gilt bronze rosette.
