Provencal chest of drawers in solid walnut, Aix-en-Provence Louis XV period

Beautiful is important chest of drawers in solid walnut gilded blond opening by two drawers in front slightly curved.
They present a beautiful sculpture with rocaille reserves on the drawers, decorated with a beautiful gilded bronze trim with original mercury in the form of foliage and flowers.
An elegant crosspiece, openwork with large acanthus leaves, ends in the center with a large flat shell symbolizing a Regency decoration.
The curved sides follow a nice apron-like movement typical of the Louis XV style.
The uprights are finished with snail-like feet and are decorated with acanthus leaves.
Its wooden tray in walnut is molded with a corbin beak.
Aix work from the beginning of the reign of Louis XV around 1745, XVIIIth.
