Early 18th C rare Louis XIV commode, so-called Mazarine, comprising 4 drawers (fronts cut in crossbow) on 3 ranks. It stands on 6 arched and scrolled feet. Proportions and space between low drawers evoke the silhouette of desks of the same name. This atypical commode corresponds to a particular order, probably to be matched with a 17th period environnement.
In walnut wood. From Provence.
