        This fine  Imari Bijin, a Beauty in Japanese, is from the late 17th century, Genroku Period (1688-1704).
The  figure is standing with her left hand raised to her chests,. She was originally holding a wood and  paper or silk umbrella. Her right hand clutch her robe. The  kimono, elaborately painted with hares running between fences, beneath flowering trees. She has  her  hair ornated with combs.
Unglazed base.
measures: Height 52 cm, Width  17 cm, Depth 19 cm
Condition -. Typical firing faults and surface glaze craking; light wear to gold. No repair.
