Value Casini (1590-1660) and Domenico Casini (active, 17th century) were two brothers, both Italian painters, active in Florence, mainly as portrait painters in the first half of the seventeenth century. Both were trained in the study of Domenico Passignano. They painted together. They dedicated themselves to representing the Medici court and much of the Florentine nobility of the time. The value was defined by Baldinucci "man of value", praised for the heads made with "very frank and very similar". In particular, he devoted himself to the composition of the hands and face while Domenico was responsible for the production of the garment, according to the most common practice of portrait painters.
