Important bookcase in solid walnut, molded and carved with a ginkgo biloba motif. It opens with four doors and a niche; the doors are compartmentalized and feature decorative wrought-iron fittings, enhancing mauve-colored iridescent glass panels. It rests on a substantial molded base; the niche and sides are fitted with walnut burl panels. All glass panes are beveled, the shelves are height-adjustable, and the lock escutcheons and keys are in gilt bronze. Superb quality of cabinetmaking, very fine patina, and perfect original condition!
