A rare pair of bronze vases of sculptural elegance, decorated with reeds and cattails symbolizing vitality and nature in motion. The scrolled handles and organic base recall unfurling leaves, expressing the Art Nouveau ideal: the fusion of form and life. Each vase bears the engraved signature C. Cernigliari-Melilli and a foundry mark "Garanti Déposée" (Registered Guarantee) accompanied by the serial number 6652, guaranteeing an authentic early 20th-century edition. A beautiful, nuanced brown-green patina highlights the fineness of the chasing and the quality of the casting.
