        Pair of porcelain vases mounted on gilt bronze. 
 The front is decorated with mythological scenes representing the god of love Eros in beautiful gardens on a cobalt blue background. 
 Eros is depicted as a young man with his bow and arrows. 
 His arrows are not used to kill, they are used to spread love among living beings. 
 He is also depicted with a violin to symbolize life and joy. 
 Our vases are signed by the painter Emile Grisard and the cutlery bears marks. 
 The back is decorated with large romantic landscapes. 
 Bronze rocaille handles.
