A magnificent bronze sculpture attributed to Clodion (Claude Michel, 1738-1814), depicting a lively bacchanalian scene inspired by classical mythology. Four figures are gracefully arranged in a dynamic composition: a central female figure holding a cluster of grapes, flanked by two satyrs and a playful child, possibly a young faun. The scene exudes movement and festivity, with flowing draperies, expressive facial features, and finely detailed elements such as grapevines, flowers, and satyr attributes.
The rich patina of the bronze enhances the depth and texture of the work, highlighting its sculptural quality. The group is mounted on a circular red marble base with a decorative beaded edge and rests on a rotating foot, allowing it to be admired from every angle.
