Silverware and Silversmith of the 19th and 20th centuries
Translucent glass vase decorated with swifts in flight, arranged in an ascending spiral. The birds are depicted in high relief, their outstretched wings creating a dynamic and fluid impression around the vase. The surface alternates between satin-finished and glossy areas for a depth effect characteristic of Lalique productions.
Manufacturing technique: Molded-pressed glass, satin-finished and polished in places. Relief decoration of stylized swifts in flight.
An emblematic model of the second half of the 20th century, this vase illustrates the revival of the Lalique house under the direction of Marie-Claude Lalique, with a powerful naturalistic decoration and refined glass relief work. Very good condition, minimal signs of use
