It is trapezoidal in shape.
It opens with a hinge thanks to a small push button set with a ruby.
It presents two miniatures in medallion: a young woman adorned with a necklace and wearing a red scarf on one side and a jar of flowers surrounded by a floral arabesque on the other side.
It has a rich gold frame decorated with knots, baskets and garlands of flowers.
The lid is decorated with two phylacteries: "souvenir" and "amitié".
