Ebony and blackened pearwood veneered desk table with geometric marquetry and ivory inlay, mascaron with foliate scrolls and central scene of a putti in a landscape. It opens with a drawer in the waistband and a rosewood veneered interior. The set rests on four fluted spindle legs, joined by a strut with a central top.Second Empire period table in fine condition.
