A silver mounted enamel pomander decorated with flowers.

German, late 17th century.

Measures 3.6 x 2.2 x 1.2cm (excluding loose bail).

The fine little scent container is hinged from its base and opens to reveal two enamelled compartmented sides, separated by a silver plate.
