The centres are entirely fluted and rest on a raised rim.

HENRI SOUFFLOT was celebrated for the quality of his chasing and the elegance of his decorative compositions inspired by the Louis XV and Louis XVI periods. His maker’s mark, registered in 1884, depicts an amphora accompanied by the initials H and S.
He distinguished himself in refined domestic silverware and table pieces such as trays, bottle coasters, beakers and centrepieces, characterised by delicate piercing, precise chasing and harmonious proportions.
SOUFFLOT perfectly embodies the revival of Parisian silversmithing under the Third Republic, combining traditional craftsmanship with creations destined for the bourgeois and aristocratic clientele of the Belle Époque.
