Offered by Borrelli Antichita
Elegant Neapolitan mirror from the first half of the 19th century, entirely carved, chased and gilded with gold leaf.
The mirror resembles a carved wooden triumph, with a movement that develops from bottom to top, where you can appreciate all its finesse.
The cymatium is a succession of scrolls, rocaille, comb shells and plant clusters, with a mirror in the center.
Two feet with rocaille motifs contribute to the elegance and refinement of this splendid object.
The mirror is made of mercury salt glass and is contemporary with the wooden frame.
