Silver stew fork, Louis XV period by SAMSON in Toulouse.

Rare and beautiful silver stew fork, Louis XV period.
Shell model.
The spatula is engraved with JDF initials all intertwined.

It is heavy, in good condition: the nets and the shells are not worn, the spatula and the teeth are very thick and the punches are well stamped on the rod.

TOULOUSE, 1768 to 1773.
M.O: Barthélémy SAMSON.

Length: 24.5 cm / Weight: 161 g.
The SAMSONS are part of a great Toulouse dynasty.

No restorations, no polishing.
It is rare to find a beautiful stewing fork and even more in the shell model.
